Description
Wild Roquette is a slightly hotter alternative to plain roquette. It is a peppery ingredient in some of our salad mixes. This salad green has been grown since Roman times and was considered an aphrodisiac! Wild Rocket is rich in Vitamin C and Iron and can be used in Pesto or for a pizza topping as well as a flavoursome addition to salad. It is also good on its own, with a little dressing. Tomato, red onion and parmesan cheese are ideal accompaniments.
