Bill’s Certified Organic Stoneground Sourdough

At Bill’s we’re focused on inspiring people to make healthier choices. All of our delicious sourdoughs are made using pure, natural ingredients. Grain is grown on certified organic Australian farms and milling of our flour is done in the traditional stoneground method, a slower, older way of milling which avoids overheating and dehydration. This means that nutrients and wheat germ are retained, giving a whole body flavour. Our unique natural starter slowly ferments over 18 hours. This allows the dough to rise and the beneficial lactobacilli (which helps digestion) to fully develop and produce the unique sourdough flavour that can be obtained no other way. Our sourdoughs are made without animal products so are suitable for those wanting a Vegan or Vegetarian diet. We also have no nuts in the bakery, so those with a nut allergy can be sure their bread is nut free. Our fruit loaves contain sultanas, raisins, figs and apricots that are naturally dried (no sulphites) and our products contain no soy.
