Founded in the year 2000, Go-Organic started from humble beginnings as a small fruit and veg co-op by a couple who had a passion for organic produce. Since then, it has grown to be a beautiful community focused provider of the freshest certified organic produce in the region.

Over the years, it has changed hands a few times, carefully from one loving caretaker to the next with improvements added along the way. Kathy has lovingly served the Hunter area and surrounds for the past 13 years, adding a variety of boxes and grocery items to her offerings.

Now, I’m here to continue the journey of connecting the local farms to you!

Go Organic began over two decades ago as a passion project between two university students who shared a love for healthy living and caring for the planet. What started as a small, community-focused effort to make organic food more accessible slowly blossomed into a trusted destination for quality, sustainability, and real food made with integrity.

Over the years, Go Organic passed through the hands of several passionate owners, each helping shape its evolving identity. Then came my chapter.

My journey with Go Organic started not as a business idea, but as a mother searching for answers. My young son was struggling with eczema, and after trying every treatment we could find—with little success—I turned to nutrition. Through a carefully considered diet rich in organic fruits and vegetables, I watched him heal naturally. That experience changed everything. I began to see food not just as fuel, but as medicine, as connection, and as a way to support both our bodies and the earth.

When the opportunity to take over Go Organic came along, it felt like more than a business—it felt like a calling.

Today, our mission is to offer more than just organic nourishing food and eco-friendly products—we’re here to create a space where people can learn, connect, and feel inspired to live well.
